The word dynamite (TNT) comes from the greek word dunamis, which means strength, power, and ability. It is used in the New Testament to describe the actions of the Holy Spirit: the changing power of God. At the end of the Gospel of Luke, Jesus tells his disciples to wait in Jerusalem until they are clothed with power (dunamis) from on high, the Holy Spirit. During the Wednesday Night Praise & Prayer service, we deliberately seek to enter God's presence through praise and to be changed by the Holy Spirit through testimony, Bible study and intercessory prayer. God is faithful to bless those who diligently seek to know Him. Our purpose is to know Him, and respond with adoration, awe and wonder. That is our sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving, an offering pleasing to the Lord in every way. TNT meets at the church office, 401 E. Kennedy Street, B7 (map and directions) Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. |
